There’s not a lot going on today, as West Michigan continues to dig out from the blizzard (and apparently re-learns how to drive), and the Griffins return from the AHL all-star break to prepare for this weekend’s showdowns with first-place Hamilton and Milwaukee at Van Andel Arena. But one event you’ll want to take note of is the Griffins Booster Club’s silent auction and dinner this Monday, Feb. 7.
This annual event at the Applause Event Facility (on 28th Street SE near Breton, behind Pietro’s) is a great way to meet all the Griffins players and coaches, talk hockey with the team’s greatest fans and, most importantly, support a fantastic cause: the Griffins Youth Foundation.
The fun begins at 6 p.m. with a buffet dinner. The silent auction concludes at 7:15 p.m., and a live auction starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are just $15 per person, while children under five are free.
For tickets or more information, visit the Booster Club table on the concourse at this weekend’s games, or send an email with your name and number of tickets requested to email@example.com. We hope to see everyone there, even if it means fewer awesome deals for us in the silent auction.
And if you’re on Facebook, be sure to “like” the Booster Club’s page.
